With her debut single “Wanted” approaching Top 20 on the Pop Song chart, Jessie James takes another giant step into the spotlight this week as she is named an MTV Discover & Download Artist, giving millions of fans totally free, no-strings-attached access to the song for the first time. “Wanted” has sold more than 200,000 copies since its release 8 weeks ago and sets the stage for the August 11th arrival of her self-titled debut album, ‘Jessie James’.

Singer Jessie James adds another incredible gig to her growing resume –dates on the road with the biggest musical act of today -The Jonas Brothers! Jessie has been tapped to host the first four shows, beginning June 20 in Dallas TX at New Cowboys Stadium. She will introduce each act on the bill and will perform her hit “Wanted” as well. In addition, the “Wanted” video will be featured in the show.

Jessie’s self-titled debut album is set for release July 28th. Recorded in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and London, the album takes off with “Wanted”, the full-throttle dance-rock scorcher that Jessie co-wrote with American Idol judge and hit songwriter Kara DioGuardi (along with Mitch Allen and David Hodges). There’s also “Bullet”, a catchy rock gem co-written with pal Katy Perry
