With the D&G Fragrance Anthology, Dolce & Gabbana aims to share a new opportunity for people to express themselves. With 5 original scents inspired by the cards of the Tarot, consumers can choose the scent to suit their mood or mix & match to create a fragrance only an individual can get away with.
The bold D&G Anthology advertising campaign reinforces the idea of fragrance freedom. Using modeling icons including Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, the commercial ads feature the models arriving on set to expose their bare bodies, set to the tune of another iconic individual, George Michael’s “Freedom ’90.” The print campaign comprises of full-page shots of the models, each separately expressing the right to wear nothing but the D&G perfume.
The unisex fragrances and unique, eye-catching advertising campaign aim to provide one thing- A collection of colognes that give consumers the freedom to express themselves, no matter what their skin color, sexual orientation or gender.
The fragrances are each represented by a number and named after Tarot cards: 1- Le Bateleur 3- L’Imperatrice 6- L’Amoureux 10- La Roue de la Fortune 18- La Lune
